GERMAN SPEAKING APPLICATION MANAGER - SQL SERVER 2008 & WINDOWS ADMIN SKILLS
German speaking Application Manager - SQL Server 2008 & Windows Admin Skills is needed for a long-term project in Zurich for a large global client.
In this role within the team, Data Delivery area, your assignment will be together with the other Application Managers, ensuring all incoming Incidents and Requests relating to the Technical Environment.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years + experience in IT operations -, specifically in a Support Team, and to deal confidently with the challenges such an environment can sometimes present
- Knowledge of ITIL especially Service Management, and experience in the Insurance Industry, particularly with regard to Risk Management and/or Audit will be highly regarded
- Project experiences (eg PMI) will be an advantage
- Self-confident, Pro-active, Team-oriented, Calm under stress, Context-aware, Quick learner, highly Organized and goal-oriented
- Fluent English or proof of the ability to write at this level is essential
- Experience in release and change management is highly valued and appropriate experience of at least some of the technologies listed above and below is essential
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Proactive and timely communication with the customer and other third party supplies is essential
- Assist the Head of BIA Risk IT with Business Analyst and technical support in infrastructure projects as well as improving existing processes
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Documenting the same as well as support him on project related tasks
