THE ROLE

The Application Manager Global Business Intelligence is responsible for:

- Delivery and management of BI environment, including ensuring accurate, transparent, complete and updated data loaded according to the agreed refresh plan
- Alignment of the needs for information products with the available capacity
- Design, develop, test and deliver the required components for information products
- Advise IT management and business on the architecture and use of the BI system landscape as well as master data mapping
- Manage the quality assurance process for releasing reports as well as the security model
- Support for delivered BI products, train users and support roll out of new reports

- Works closely and pro-active with business stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and translate this into designs.
- Has deep knowledge (expert level) of BI and BI tools, can develop all necessary components (ETL, Star Schema, Cubes, Data Mart, Dashboards and reports)
- Leads BI area and initiates improvements based on knowledge of the (changing) business needs and knowledge of the capabilities of the software (both technical and functional).
- Manages the demand, ensures prioritization and delivery of the approved projects in BI space
- Coordinates the alignment with other Application Managers and IT Back Office with regard to timing of data extracts and infrastructure requirements
- Trains and supports users in the tooling and delivered information products
- Delivers support on the BI environment and manages the health of the system

THE INDIVIDUAL

- Educational level/Experience: Masters degree with 5+ years' experience in Implementation and maintanence of Business Intelligence systems
- Technical skills with regard to BI, specifically Microsoft products and Azure
- Proven Project management/Delivery manager skills
- System administration/system management experience
- DBA experience/skills is a plus
- ERP knowledge (Infor LN) is a plus
- Team player, Initiative taker
- Global travel may be required
