Application Manager/Application Engineer (Fluent Dutch Speaker)

POSITION: APPLICATION MANAGER/APPLICATION ENGINEER (FLUENT DUTCH SPEAKER)

LOCATION: EINDHOVEN, NETHERLANDS

DURATION: 6-12 MONTHS

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Ensures excellent operational performance of application
- Prevent or solve service interruptions for application environment
- Initiate and coordinate or participate in efficiency improvement activities
- Initiate and coordinate or participate in innovation projects
- Make detailed planning of activities and document them
- Maintain and expand knowledge and skills related to area of expertise
- Comply with and ensure compliance with rules and regulations related to support activities
- Participates in application customer meetings at operational level
- Operational maintenance of the application
- Set up and maintain application environments (development, test, production).
- Solve and track PR/CRs.
- Operational communication with end users
- Version management and rollout of versions
- Application monitoring related to processing platform (eg performance checks and improvement).
- Planning and monitoring of batch jobs, where relevant
- Technical release of new functionality, including validation
- Define and deploy technical guidelines

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Experienced software engineer (5-10 years ), understands the way of working within development departments, working experience in a development and/or service organization for professional industrial products.
