Application manager/Application engineer - Defect handling - IBM Rational ClearQuest - Best

Looking for an Application manager/Application engineer who will be responsible for:

- Ensuring excellent operational performance of applications
- Preventing or solving service interruptions for application environment
- Initiate and coordinate or participate in efficiency improvement activities
- Initiate and coordinate or participate in innovation projects
- Make detailed planning of activities and document them
- Maintain and expand knowledge and skills related to his/her area of expertise
- Comply with and ensure compliance with rules and regulations related to his/her support activities
- Participates in application customer meetings at operational level
- Operational maintenance of the application
- Set up and maintain application environments (development, test, production).
- Solve and track PR/CRs.
- Operational communication with end users
- Version management and rollout of versions
- Application monitoring related to processing platform (eg performance checks and improvement).
- Planning and monitoring of batch jobs, where relevant
- Technical release of new functionality, including validation
- Define and deploy technical guidelines

The Application manager/Application Engineer must be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:

- Experienced software engineer (5-10 years)
- Essentials of IBM Rational ClearQuest
- Mastering IBM Rational ClearQuest Administration
- Developing Software with IBM Rational Team Concert
- FDA 21cfr11 tool validation
