Our Client:-

The consultant will be part of the Application Management Department and will report to the SUN System Service manager based in Singapore

Your New role:-

The client is currently running a process reengineering project for its business units in Asia and Africa.

The targets of this project is:

- to standardize the processes, ensuring they are in line with the Yara global way of working
- to highly improve the business administration efficiency
- to highly reduce the business risk by securing end to end business transactions full transparency, one source of business transaction data, on line and on time business transactions recording and enabling SoD/SaT risk controls
- to implement a fit for purpose, uniformed and integrated ERP and reporting solution answering all business requirements and the process reengineering project challenges,
- to eradicate all non-standard local applications currently in use on top of the existing ERP by integrating their functionalities within the selected ERP solution

The business units in scope are small sales and logistics companies consisting of 10 to 50 people. They are today supported by the version 4.4.4 of the INFOR SunSystems and by the version 10.1 of the INFOR PMQA Reporting application. The today solution supports 175 users and 20 SUN Units spread in Africa, Asia and Oceania.

The current SUN System is managed by one internal IT resource based in Singapore, acting as application service manager and technical lead of the solution. The maintenance and development support is provided by INFOR consulting from India.

Due to lack of governance and that the current SUN System is not Unicode enabled, the current ERP solution usage is not standardized across the different supported units and is duplicated/completed by a certain number of local printing, data collection/process applications.

The process reengineering project has currently reached the next status:

- Standardized business process description have been generated
- the related IT system and functionalities business requirement have been generated,

The process reengineering project started the implementation of the standardized processes and will be supported by an IT stream, managed by an IT project manager.

The mission of the IT stream consists of:
- implementing the new business processes within the version 6.2 of the INFOR SunSystems following the next approach > detailed and approved blue printing, core template implementation and application installation, wave roll outs to the different units.
- supporting the business organization change management through continuous training and advises.

Current status is that the implementation blue print has been generated and we have started the build of the core template solution

Essential Skills:-

Yara application team is looking for a senior consultant who offers a strong background in ERP implementation for small sales and logistics units, who has experience in IT application services, who has functional knowledge of the SUN System ERP (Version 4.0 and higher) and PMQA reporting tool, who has experience in project management and organization change management and who has good business process experience in sales, logistics, production and accounting/controlling using SUN Systems.

The Candidate will be ideally based in Europe, ideally Brussels or be based in Europe with frequent and long stay in Africa for at least 50%. The job requires as well frequent travel and stay to different countries in Africa (South Africa, Cameroun, Tanzania, Egypt, Kenya, Ivory Coast) and some possible travels to Singapore.

The candidate will work in close relationship with the current SUN System manager and will be the represent of the SUN System solution in Africa. The candidate will also work in close relationship with the business Africa CFO and his team, the different African country managers and their employees.

The role of the candidate will be to actively participate to the SUN Version 6.2 implementation and roll out for Africa (Blue printing, Functional design, implementation control, testing support, training, 3 level support, documentation).

Candidate should be proficient in English and knowledge of French will be highly appreciated.
