Application Enginner - Brussels - 400 Euros per day

Endeavour Recruitment is looking for a technically oriented application engineer to join a large client based in Brussels, Belgium.

Skills:

- ICT-experience & affinity with ICT-systems, ICT-infrastructure and ICT applications
- Experience with technical and functional design
- Knowledge about database concepts, database structure
- Knowledge of mainstream scheduling concepts and tools
- Problem analysis skills
- Risk analysis skills (and be able to limit risks when introducing solutions)

Analytical skills :

- Basic (ICT) analytical skills
- Understand and apply concepts off and interaction between business process flows ICT-application & ICT-infrastructure

Technical Skills:

- OS-affinity/background - Unix basics
- Knowledge of mainstream OS programming languages and concepts - Preferably: (more than) basics of Perl - Unix Scripting basics
- SQL - more than basic knowledge
- Connect Direct and UDM affinity and knowledge
- Basic knowledge of Mainframe (PL1, ISPF, Changeman) is an added advantage.
