Application Engineer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Provide technical guidance and technical after sales support to customers – in alignment with field application engineers (FAE) 
- Evaluate and verify product features related to customer requirements 
- Be responsible for the application roadmap and provide crucial input to the definition of the product roadmap 
- Compile technical presentations used for product promotions and trainings to FAEs, customers or distributors 
- Build relationship with internal peers (e.g. in Product Marketing, Quality Management, Sales) as well as with external stakeholders worldwide (e.g. customers and business partners)

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Degree in in the field of Electronic Engineering, Physics or related field of study 
- Relevant professional experience with strong background in industrial automation and/or isolated couplers - including PCB layout, prototyping, circuit technology, troubleshooting and verification
- Good understanding of analog mixed signal use cases in that application field
- Profound knowledge of application-level and component-level industrial standards and norms, e.g. IEC 61131, UL1577, VDE 0884
- Excellent communication skills, experience in dealing with customers and motivation to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Fluent English and ideally German language skills
