Application Engineer (Data Analysis, Matlab)

Job Mission

Support customers with their current and future challenges in process development to efficiently produce devices with ever shrinking features. Stretch the equipment and associated processes beyond its specification to deliver the customer the required on product performance (imaging, overlay, defectively) and productivity.

Job Description

The department is responsible for advanced application support customers. The department is committed to fine-tune the lithographic process at the customers site according and beyond their state of the art processes and products.

Your job will be to work together with project leaders and project competencies, perform complex analysis based on high tech and metrology data.

You need to develop applicable competencies: big data, statistics, analysis toolkits, processing and metrology.

Further you are required to identify opportunities and be versatile and agile in transforming them in customer added value.

Education

MSc, PDEng or Phd degree in Physics, Mathematics or Engineering. STRONG IN DATA ANALYSIS AND MATLAB.

Experience

* At least 1 years' experience in semiconductor fab with a preference for experience in the area of metrology.

* Experienced in data mining, data analysis and statistical evaluation methods

* Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English.

* Ability to work independently and in teams.

Personal skills

* Strong technical background and driven towards solutions

* Proficient Matlab programming

* Strong statistical and analytical background (eg regression, forecasting, machine learning)

* Ability to create clear presentations with point analysis

* Solution minded and able to see and develop the bigger picture

* Result focus and a "can do" spirit

* Creative and broad thinker.
