For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:

APPLICATION ENGINEER BANKDMS (CONTRACTING)

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Acquire detail knowledge on local Xanthos BankDMS installation, application deployment process, security concept and create/update documentation
- Support the data migration and application consolidation in one single Datacenter
- Ensuring stable BankDMS systems running on Windows Server in large banking environments This includes:
- Administration of Xanthos BankDMS
- Managing new application software releases and data migrations
- Second level support for internal customers
- Potentially providing On-Call support for some critical banking applications during off office hours
- Ensure adherence to internal IT standards and security guidelines

REQUIREMENTS

- University degree in Computer Science or similar
- Relevant administration, deployment and testing experience of WINDOWS APPLICATIONS
- Good experience in WINDOWS SERVER OPERATING SYSTEMS
- Good experience in MICROSOFT SQL DATABASE
- Good experience in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
- Troubleshooting and debugging of WEB SERVICES (Java, C#)
- Understanding network topology and IT security
- Good knowledge administrating of VMware ESX
- Experience in a Financial/Investment Banking and/or Private Banking environment advantageous
- Knowledge in Xanthos BankDMS advantageous
- Fluent in ENGLISH/French high desirable
- Client focus approach, quick learner, high level of self-motivation
