Application Development-Technical Writer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Project will be creating and managing documentation for new Access Management System for various audiences.
- This includes documentation for end users, administrators, IT managers in markets around the world, application developers, and support personnel.
- Consolidate all platform market documentation in a single place
- Review the documentation to see where we have gaps/overlap, particularly where services work together to provide a solution
- Update our existing documentation with current functionality
- Update documentation to use latest branding
- Review documentation for usefulness by markets - does it provide the detail that they require to deploy and use our services
- Ensure our documentation covers actual processes market admins should follow, not just how the tools themselves work
- Improve our deployment documentation
- Create combined GAM/FIM deployment document
- Create more detailed GAM deployment settings spreadsheet
- Provide better market admin training documentation
- Create scripts for overview presentations to market staff.

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5-10 years of technical writing experience
- Someone comfortable working with all different types of people to gain information and translate into documentation
- Someone good with process issues would be preferred but not necessary
- No specific software knowledge needed
- Professional who is more than just a technical writer.
- Need to be willing to learn how things are supposed to work so they can identify gaps and where our audience might be confused.
- Understanding of change management a plus.
