Application Developer w/JAVA/J2EE for OTC Products (2148)

For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for a skilled

APPLICATION DEVELOPER W/JAVA/J2EE FOR OTC PRODUCTS (2148)

KNOWLEDGE

- Good knowledge of the Java framework, I/O, Multithreading, persistence frameworks (Hibernate, JAXB, etc.)
- Good design of SQL queries and ability to investigate performance issues
- Knowledge of build tools and IDEs and knowledge of control versioning systems
- Good understanding of the IT domain overall, with special attention for networks and distributed applications

EXPERIENCE

- Degree or higher education in Information Technology and/or Business/Economics or equivalent
- Good knowledge of OTC PRODUCTS AND GENERAL BUSINESS KNOW-HOW and some years of practical experience
- Knowledge of trading and Back Office systems in international banking environment
- OUTSTANDING KNOWLEDGE OF FRONT TO BACK OFFICE.
- Familiar with iterative development styles and fast turnaround in a tight team
- STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND GOOD LANGUAGE SKILLS IN ENGLISH AND GERMAN
- Drive for high quality and working with other internationally oriented organizational units to achieve common goal
- Experience in Equities, Fixed Income or other OTC products would be advantageous.

MUREX EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POSITION.
