JOB DESCRIPTION

Gathering of requirements; Process Design; Functional Design of Interfaces and any necessary customizations; Applications Configuration; Application Testing.

- Develop specific code and scripts to migrate the functionality from the old to new version of sample manager. 
- Develop and work with .NET were needed enable functionality with Sample manager. 
- Build IM interface scripts for specific instruments. 
- Fix bugs reaised in our test quality system. 
- Work with the team of 3 other developers, one team lead. 

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

- Sample manager V10 product knowledge (Scheduler, VGL Coding master .NET coding with Sample manager Skill Oracle knowledge to understand SM10 data model. 
- Experience in coding IM scripts connecting instruments to sample manager. 
- Understand and has accidence building labels and COQ reports with Sample manager. 
- Technical Documentation skills Work with the standard MS Office tools, Word, communicator, PowerPoint, Visio.
- Sample Manager v10 programming experience a plus 
- .net a Plus 
- C# a plus 
- Worked on projects involving Sample Manager, primarily VGL design and development within last two years 
- Expert VGL programming - plus 3 years' experience 
- Thermo Fisher's Sample Manager software design 
- SQL 
- Infomaker reporting 
- An understanding of LIMS functional requirements 
- Can prepare Design documentation 
- Work in Code Release Management environment 
- OPTIONAL: HP Quality centre experience. 

SOFT SKILLS:

Team player Good Communicative skill set allow good communication with users and project team members.
