Software Engineer - DV Cleared

We currently have a requirement for a Software Engineer to work on an exciting new 6 months contract role with one of our leading clients. Candidates will be required to hold a current DV clearance before applying. This role will be based in the area of Gloucestershire.

Job Description

* Responsible for Application Management in a dynamic complicated environment
* Investigation and configuration of complex systems with multiple interfaces
* Technical designs, ways of working and drafting of templates
* Application/System Benchmarking and identification of improvement initiatives
* Root Cause and Impact Analysis

Objectives

* Operating as part of an team, leading on specific application and system initiatives
* Change/Release & Deployment Management

Skills and Experience

* Quick learner capable of system development across multiple platforms and technologies
* Strong problem solving and system diagnostic skills
* Capable of working on Linux and Windows based server infrastructure
Skills in one or more of the following technologies:

* Java
* Oracle
* OBI/ODI
* MySQL
* QlikView
* Drools
* Scala
* ITIL/Service Management experience is desirable
