One of our Major Clients is urgently looking for an Application Developer.

Job Summary:

Within the Interface Applications group we are looking for highly motivated developers, being ready to participate in the design, development and testing of software solutions that are required to meet our Interface deliverables. We're looking for an energetic, smart and motivated professional with at least 8+ years of experience in software development and testing.

Your responsibilities will be to:

* Design, develop, test, install and support Interface products in line with agreed requirements.

* Participate to feasibility studies to validate technical solutions for product enhancements.                

* Analyze problems, develop and propose solutions.               

* Provide technical assistance to colleagues and provide guidance to more junior team members in their daily work.                 

* Provide timing/scheduling estimates to project lead and propose corrective actions when necessary.                 

Experience

* Experience: 8+ years experience in software systems development and testing

* Skills required - Professional knowledge and expertise:

- OS: Windows (Windows 7 & Server 2008) & UNIX (AIX, Solaris, Linux)
- Programming languages: in depth Java, Perl, UNIX Shell and Windows Scripting
- Java knowledge: Java SE, Java EE, OSGi
- Middleware: Fuse ESB, JBoss Fuse, Apache Active MQ, IBM WebSphere MQ
- Integration: Apache Camel, Oracle Java CAPS
- Web services: SOAP, XML, HTTP, RESTful, Apache CXF
- Knowledge of relational database related technologies (Oracle)
- Experience with techniques to improve scalability, performance and resilience (ie multi-processing, Multithreading, clustering)
- Software development tools: Clearcase, Eclipse.

* Knowledge of any of the following is an asset:
- SWIFTNet products, services and standards
- Strong analytical skills.
- Very good communication and planning skills.
- A team player, willing to work in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent in English.
