Job Description:
Overview of business area or project:
The area of application deployment is responsible for the deployment environments. He/she provides the projects with the software-related framework in the form of guidelines and standards and oversees their compliance in the course of business integration.
By the end of the year, various projects in the area of automation of DUKE applications (Java based specialist applications) on WLP (WebSphere Liberty Profile) (using Urban Code Deploy). Due to resource bottlenecks in the team, we are looking for an external support.
Tasks:
The activities of the application developer include the following focal points:
1. Contribute to the migration of specialized applications to WebSphere Liberty
2. Collaboration on automation and configuration of specialized applications on the new
Deployment environment (using Urban Code Deploy)
Requirements:
- Higher vocational education (Swiss Federal certificate/Swiss Federal Diploma) or equivalent education and professional experience in the field
- DevOps, Java, Scripting, Application Server (WebSphere Application Server/WebSphere Liberty Profile)
- High level of self and social competence, communication skills, analytical ability and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team
- Self-responsibility, independence and integrity
- Very good knowledge of German (written/oral) as well as English language skills
