Application Developer

We are looking for APPLICATION DEVELOPERS to join our team in Brussels working with the European Commission.

In this role the successful candidate will develop and maintain software applications, integrate technological components and apply RUP methodology and best practices, among other technical tasks.

- In depth knowledge of Java
- In depth knowledge of the JavaScript frameworks, such as AngularJS
- Good knowledge of software development methodologies

- Good knowledge of HTML/XHTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript
- Good knowledge of the Spring framework, including Spring Security
- Good Knowledge of Hibernate
- Good knowledge of Tomcat
- Good knowledge of Build automation tool (such as Maven) and version control tool (such as Git)
- Knowledge and practice of interoperability technologies, especially Web Services (REST, JSON), message-oriented Middleware (such as ActivMQ), service bus
- Ability to work in English (written and oral)
