On behalf of our client, a leading global consulting firm, we are looking for an application developer for a contract position based in Zurich, Switzerland; our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide high quality operational and technical application support to several areas of the Vaccines Business Unit, with assigned functional area for the purpose of business technology development, solution discovery, service management and relationship management
- Provide technical leadership to the Application Managed Services group to resolve issues and implement changes to the production architecture
- Take the lead on Application Release Management for complex internally and externally hosted applications
- Work with Computer Systems Validation and Computer Systems QA teams to support all validation and testing aspects as part of project and change work
- Participate in the development of knowledge management and training content Support global IT infrastructure strategy.
YOUR PROFILE:
- 4- 5 years' experience as an application developer
- Education in Information technology/computer science at bachelor or master level
- Previous proven experience in a managerial role
- Previous working experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a strong advantage
- Language required: English - Fluent written and spoken
- Ingenuity and creativity
LOCATION: Canton Zurich
DURATION: 8 months with a high possibility of extension
