Application Developer

They are currently seeking an Application Developer to join their team.
The position requires to work from Surprise AZ location (WBELL) Develop and enhance tools and scripts to streamline and automate our build and release process.

Specifically, these include:
1) Implement an automated way to inherit profiles for specific boards and upstream those changes
2) Provide support and help for developers not familiar with the program who are trying to write ebuilds
3) Help with upstreaming of changes made to local ebuilds in the chromiumos-overlay
4) Other various build and release automation tools

Requirements:

- Experience with Unix systems administration including solid Scripting skills in Shell, PHP, Perl, or Python
- Proven technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experience
- Experience in a high-volume or critical production service environment
- Experience leading short projects involving outside teams is a plus
- SQL and/or MySQL experience a plus
- Tack-sharp analytical abilities, coupled with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
- Fluent written communication and unusual verbal agility are strong assets
- Experience developing and porting open source software for Embedded Linux platforms
- Design multi-processor Embedded systems that meet our unique RF processing requirements Software development proficiency in C or C++
- Experience developing CGI Web based 2.0 applications Knowledge of network protocols and experience with socket programming
- Knowledge of Linux Kernel, file-systems, boot process and driver architecture
- Understanding of processor and hardware requirements around Embedded Linux
- Excellent communication skills, (written, and verbal)
- Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment strong Linux user skills
