Application Developer

For our banking client based in Zurich we are currently looking for an Application Developer.

Location: Zurich
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Languages: English and German

ACTIVITIES:

* Successfully and fully implement all business requirements
* Deliver software within time, the desired quality and performance
* Constantly improve the current software process and code base
* ensure traceability of code changes
* Comply to the CS policies and standards of software development.
* acts as technical representation (with the knowledge of the current technology standards), advisor and contact point for a project
* cooperates closely with the Domain Architect, Solution Architect, the IT Owner, the Requirements Engineer and the Project Manager
* in charge of the design and for a design conform implementation of an application, including interfaces to the surrounding systems
* provides planning input regarding solution engineering project activities to the Project Manager
* responsible for all project-related solution engineering work products content and quality of the application documentation (eg System Specification) delivered by the project

Strong knowledge in
* PL1
* DB2 (SQL)
* ChangeMan
* Eclipse
* CORBA
* TSO/ISPF
* JCL

Practical experience in
* IMS
* XML
* UML

Knowledge in
* Banking
* IBM Mainframe
* RUP/CMMI
are a plus
