Application Developer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an APPLICATION DEVELOPER to join our client in Charlotte, NC.

JOB OVERVIEW:

- Senior Application Developer/Support Analyst on the Fossil Hydro Solution Support Team.
- Role comprises of 50% development and 50% support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The team provides end user support; application broke fix issue resolution, application maintenance, and enhancement services.
- The position can be requested to perform application development for large IT projects for FH.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Required six (6) plus years of experience in application development and application solution delivery process
- Four (4) year degree or equivalent experience
- Provide IT application development services
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing software in a production environment to minimize application down time
- Participant in after hour callout approximately every 6 weeks
- Applied working experience with SSRS, C#, AJAX, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, HTML, XML. SQL and Oracle Database programming
- Ability to create and troubleshoot web service based SOA (service oriented architecture systems in a distributed enterprise environment
- Excellent customer interfacing and service skills
- Ability to multi task effectively, self-starter, and ability to work with minimum supervision. Other desired qualifications:
- Technical demonstrated proficiency in administration of IIS7
- A strong knowledge of Windows 2008 security and sharing models
- Experience with other tools such as Informatica, MQ, Web Methods, Dimensions
