On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for an APPLICATION DESIGNER FOR CRM SYSTEMS. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Job Description:

The department is responsible for serving and supporting Client Relationship Managers and Business Development teams globally. We are responsible for the development and maintenance of a CRM system and its integration into the complex business and technical environment of Global Asset Management.

In your role as Application Designer your main responsibilities include:

* Specifying, setting up and maintaining the infrastructure of the application and the interfaces

* Defining and documenting the overall application architecture and design

* Architectural lead of developers

* Understanding stakeholder requirements and translating these into a technical solution design

* Deployment of developed solutions including source code management

* Reviewing code from peers according to standards and best practices

* Development of application components

Requirements:

* University degree or equivalent background

* Experience with CRM systems

* Knowledge of .NET technologies including C#

* Familiar with database technology (Oracle and MS-SQL server)

* Informatica knowledge would be a bonus

* Long term experience of modern software engineering methodologies

* Strong problem solving and communication skills

* Strong implementation skills

* Good written and spoken English (German would be a plus)
