ROLE: APPLICATION DESIGNER- 12 MONTH CONTRACT - BRUSSELS - €450
DURATION: 12 MONTHS
LOCATION: BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
RATE: EUROS 450
Montash have just secured a partnership with one of Europe's leading development houses for a large-scale programme which will see them bringing in over 20 contract resources before Xmas this year and more headcount next. To apply for any of these roles you MUST be an EU citizen and able to commit to a minimum of 12 months.
SPECIFIC ASPECTS OF THE ROLE:
- Architecture definition and technical design of the JEE 6 web information systems
- Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
- Definition, analysis and implementation of the integration of different information systems
- Implement, maintain and improve the release management process
- Identify and develop tools which are necessary to implement and streamline these processes
- Guide the team in charge of project activities and review their deliverables
- Interface between development and production teams for any activity in relation with releases of systems, including databases modifications.
- Give proposals for project strategies, planning, definition of tasks and deliverables, review of project deliverables, quality control, risk analysis and management, status reports, problem reporting and management systems, follow up and organisation
- Assistance to the definition of internal methodologies and application life cycle
- Production of software architecture documents
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
- Depending on the circumstances, the expert may be requested to provide assistance or support in the resolution of production issues
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent expertise in configuration and change management tools (RTC)
- Proven experience in information systems architecture, release management practices
- Good practical experience with Scripting tools
- Good knowledge of business process analysis, Service Oriented Architecture interoperability technology (eg web services, message oriented Middleware, service oriented bus)
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working.
- Experience in service bus architecture and web technologies
