APPLICATION DBA/DATA ARCHITECT
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English speaking APPLICATION DBA/DATA ARCHITECT. The successful candidate will be part of a team which is the premier provider of technology security services across the bank. The team is currently working on an Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. For this contract position based in Zürich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Supporting projects to find optimized, maintainable, and performing solutions reflecting state of the art DB design
- Work with solution architects to define the data architecture for our IAM platform
- Consulting projects with Datamodelling
- Support projects with query/SQL tuning
- Aligning implementation of new solutions
- Support the Database operation teams
- Support the 3rd lever support team with Database related incident resolution
- Troubleshooting/analysis of performance problems
You must possess:
- At least 6 years of experience as a DBA/Data Architect
- Proven experience in banking a plus
- German a huge plus
- Fluent with Oracle databases
- MS SQL knowledge a plus
