Application Change Manager - Antwerp Region, Belgium

Application Change Manager is responsible for controlling the life cycle of all Application Changes. The primary objective of Application Change Management (ACM) is to enable beneficial changes to be made, with minimum disruption to IT Services. Hence Application Changes should be managed to optimize Risk exposure, minimize the severity of any impact and disruption and be successful at the first attempt.

Therefore the Change Manager has within a functional area/domain or Application environment responsibility for effectiveness and efficiency of the Change Management process, including:
Adherence to a documented process, aligned with the IT ACM Best Practices,
Application of the release management policy,
Application of the (tiered) Governance structure, also ensuring major or high risk changes are visible to senior management,
If applicable: chair Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings according to charter and with standard agenda,
Report and review ACM Process metrics and take with the Application Owner appropriate action if required,
Provide process training and coaching to process stakeholders,
Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of the ACM process interpretation and discuss with the IT Application Owner and/or Application Change Management Core Team Member any identified opportunities for improvement.
Ensure process effectiveness: only changes are implemented with all required approvals and with known risk,
Ensure adequate Change administration: all changes logged, with required documentation and evidence of approvals and compliance
Maintain oversight of all Requests For Change [RFC] within a functional area/domain.
Assignment of the Change Owner for each RFC
Maintaining the list of Pre-approved changes or Low Risk/Minor Changes for which approval is delegated to individuals: ensure CAB focus on significant changes in the CAB
See to it the process documentation and work instructions are adequate
Administration of the Change Management tool.
Act as the central contact and subject matter experts of the ACM process in the event of audit
