Application Architect-Spatial

An international managed service company are seeking a Spatial Application Architect who has demonstrated experience in Application, Integration, Software and Information Architecture with a solid background in leading a team.

You will be required to communicate extensively with Senior IT and Business stakeholders across several streams.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Demonstrated expertise in various systems integration to ensure SPATIAL SOLUTIONS, services and products are adhered to the project requirements
- Candidates should posse's sound understanding of design, development and delivery including established technical leadership in software engineering, development and testing of various SPATIAL applications
- Proven experience in architecture and implantation of various GEOSPATIAL enabled solution ideally in utility domain using GE small world and/or Enterprise ESRI platforms including ArcFM and/or Magik Scripting.
- Familiarity with GEOSPATIAL modelling, geo database design and ability to communicate effectively to wider audience in business including clients, stakeholders etc.
- Genuine technical know-how of Enterprise Architecture solution and ability to design and draft the solution that aligns with key business policies, change management and transition during various system integrations.
- Candidate should be able to define constrains, articulate solution including repeatable built, use case analysis, and risk assessment and communicate effectively through detailed reports, presentation and lead the spatial team.
- Assist in managing change and derive solution for interdependent spatial projects
- Strategic thinking for SPATIAL and IT methodologies for spatial database management, spatial architecture and solution including experience in working dynamic and complex project environment.
- High level technical skills in multiple spatial platforms and knowledge of OGC standards.
- Ability to operate as a self-motivated, result oriented individual with experience in data migration and integration with SAP and other ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS.
