Application Architect (SOA/Webservices/UML)

THE CONTRACT IS WITH A CONSULTANCY TO BE ON AN ASSIGNMENT AT A LARGE EUROPEAN SITE IN CENTRAL BRUSSELS AS FOLLOWS:- DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

* Architecture and design of systems in the field of grants management and collaborative platform.

* Review of existing systems and suggestions for improvement/better integration

* Analysis, design and development of components/modules for internal systems

* Data analysis and business process modelling

* Liaise with other project teams as necessary to address cross-project interdependencies

* Assistance in testing, deployment, technical documentation and reporting

SKILLS & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

* Excellent knowledge of SOA and Web Services

* Strong capacities in application design and modelling tools (Enterprise Architect, UML)

* Mandatory knowledge of Jive, preferably Jive 7

* Experience with client-side Web development techniques (HTML, Javascript, AJAX, CSS, XSLT)

* Proven experience of relational DBMS, Oracle and PL/SQL

* Experience working in agile environments using Scrum (or similar) and via innovative/interactive techniques to engage customers during project

* Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in web applications management and willingness to learn new technologies with fast experimentation cycles

* Capacity of integration in an international/multicultural environment and experience working in a team

* Experience with administrative legal and financial circuits is an asset

* Fluent in both French and English
