Application Architect - Senior, 9 Month Contract Amsterdam

SEC Recruitment are looking for an Application Architect for our client in Amsterdam. - fluent Dutch and English speakers required. This is a 9 - 12 month contract paying around 500 euros per day. 36 hours per week.

Role Description:

A systems integrator creates information systems for clients by combining hardware and software products from multiple vendors. Creation of these information systems may include the end to end design and configuration of an application, integrating it with new or existing hardware, packaged and custom software, and infrastructure.
The system integrator prepares the installation (or upgrade) or commercial (off the shelf) software on premises and/or and guides the vendor and/or stakeholders during the actual implementation.
The system integrator designs and maintains the configuration during the complete life cycle of the information system. The integration between systems is contentwise (functional) as well as a technical. The system integrator works with vendor (s) to prepare and execute the systems integration test.

General knowledge/experience: infrastructure, Networking, Technical design, Integration test design and execution, Problem solving.

Technical knowledge/experience: Nolio, WebSphere 7, Firewalls, load balancing, Unix (AIX, SUSE linux), PKI, Oracle, XFB, Tibco, MQ.

Project: Lifecycle management and Data center migration (12 months)
Content description: realizing life goals, multiple cyclemanagement, incl. upgrade AIX/Linux, Oracle, WebSphere, and XCOM. Migrate Interactive payments application to new stack in new data center.

Current phase in project cycle: Execution.

Work: Intake of new projects. Create/update technical documentation. Infra project manager provide inputs for infra deliverables. Implementation manager provide inputs for implementations. Create and install installation packages on test environments.

Responsibilities: independently renew existing infrastructeren In projects.
