Application Architect (m/f)

- Define the target architecture of a new HR application for compensation planning
- Work as part of an Agile team, building a prototype combining Java, PeopleSoft 9.x, Cognos, Oracle database and Data Warehouse technologies
- Facilitate architecture decision taking business requirements (functional and non-functional) as well as IT strategy considerations (cost, maintainability, risk, etc) into account. Prepare decision papers with suitable visualizations
- Work closely with the product owner to ensure user stories are suitable to achieve the a.m. objective
- Deep experience in application, solutions, data and/or enterprise architecture
- Experience in SQL and PL/SQL
- Broad experience in distributed computing and related technologies
- Experience in at least two of the following technologies Java, PeopleSoft, UI frameworks (such as SmartGWT, Sencha GXT or Vaadin), Cognos BI, Oracle databases
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Team player, excited to work in a fast moving Agile team with opportunities to experiment to discover best way forward
- Very good command of the English language
