APPLICATION ARCHITECT II for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Overland Park, KS.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- The Architect II performs architecture planning in support of key IT initiatives. The candidate focuses on requirements and design phases, supports development, testing, and issue escalation.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The candidate manages and promotes use of IT standards, serves as subject matter expert to Nextel projects and provides support for project team members.
- The candidate is required to lead a large team of developers, performs architecture designs and solves complex module and system level application issues.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Post graduate degree preferred. Professional certifications preferred.
- Eight (8) years related work experience.
- Five (5+) years of Java and J2EE
- Three (3+) years of Oracle database environment
- Three (3+) years experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Struts
- Three (3+) years of JSF, Primefaces, mobile web development
- Three (3+) years of webservices SOAP/Restful
