Application Architect (Java & Oracle)/12 Months/Brussels

APPLICATION ARCHITECT/12 MONTHS/BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

Application Architect urgently required for one of my clients for an initial period of 12 months to be based in Brussels, Belgium

In this role as an Application Architect you will be responsible the following tasks:

- Architecture and design of new information systems.
- Review of the architecture of existing systems
- Design of component architecture and building blocks
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems
- Data analysis and Datamodelling.
- Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
- Technical interface between the project leaders and the analysts.
- Production of software architecture documents
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with
- the users
- Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the deployment, the
- Evaluation and the reporting

Required skills

- In-depth knowledge and proven experience with Oracle, Java, J2EE, UML, JIRA.
- In-depth knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture
- In depth knowledge of applications design
- In depth knowledge of modelling tools
- Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming languages
- Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture
- Good knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems
- Good knowledge of business process analysis
- Knowledge of interoperability technology (eg web services, message oriented
- Middleware, service oriented bus)
- Fluency in English and French
