Application Architect/Designer WITH JIVE and JAVA/J2EE

APPLICATION ARCHITECT/DESIGNER WITH JIVE AND JAVA/J2EE

The contract is with a large organisation to be assignment at a large European site in Brussels. The client is currently seeking an Application Architect/Designer with specific expertise in Jive and Java/J2EE to help extend its current technical capacity and expertise in the field of Jive development.

TASKS:

. Participate in the development of customised solutions based on Jive
. Design, develop, test and maintain customised solutions in the tool with optimal usability/user experience
. Provide advice and development on integration of document collaboration modules, in particular for MS Office and Sharepoint
. Advice on mobile and security issues
. Produce quality code that is well documented and in accordance with system and technical specifications
. Liaise with other project teams as necessary to address cross-project interdependencies

SKILLS AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

. Min 3 years Core Specific Compentency in Jive in implementation and creation of sites and architecture - current version is 7 with migration to version 8 in the medium term.

. Additional Specific Compentency is Java/J2EE (solid proven experience in development)

. Solid and proven experience in Front End web-based development: HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery

. Proven knowledge of database modelling and building (MySQL, Oracle)

. Experience working in agile envirnmnets using Scrum (or similar) and via innovative/interactive techniques to engage customers during project

. Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in web applications management and willingness to learn new technologies with fast experimentation cycles

Fluent English, French an asset
