APPLICATION ARCHITECT/DESIGNER (ORACLE/COLDFUSION)
THIS CONTRACT IS WITH A LARGE CONSULTANCY IN BRUSSELS TO BE ON A LONG ASSIGNMENT AT AN EEC SITE IN CENTRAL BRUSSELS AS FOLLOWS:- Application Architects/Designer
Architecture and design of information systems
Review of the architecture of existing systems
Design and development of component architecture and building blocks
Analysis of the integration of different information systems
Data analysis and Datamodelling
Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
Production of software architecture documents
Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting
As part of the technical documentation we expect a full installation guide and administration guide covering each (DIGIT and Open Source) platforms when applicable or requested.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS
Change management processes are controlled in an existing JIRA instance Preferred methodology: Agile (SCRUM) and PM2 whenever not specified.
Business dependency, the applications for control of fisheries are rather complex and need an important knowledge of applicable legislation to understand business requirements. Knowledge of underlying business concepts, processes and modules is essential for the execution of the tasks.
Technological dependency, as indicated by internal product management (lead by DG DIGIT) and some specificity for technologies and versions, but in general those indicated below:
a. Adobe Coldfusion 12
b. Oracle technologies (RDBMS, Oracle OSB, Oracle SOA suite and Weblogic versions 11 and 12)
c. WDSL, SOAP and XML standards
d. JBoss 7, Postgres 9 and Railo 4 (not mandatory, but suggested as alternative for development purposes)i.
e. PL/SQL
f. Java
g. Angular JS, Bootstrap
h. Liquibase
i. DROOLS (business rules engine)
