APPLICATION ARCHITECT/DESIGNER (JIVE AND JAVA/J2EE)
We are looking for a APPLICATION ARCHITECT/DESIGNER FOR A 1 YEAR CONTRACT
9 YEARS OF SPECIFIC EXPERTISE IN AAD; 18 YEARS OF GENERAL XP, INCLUDED STUDIES.
Rate: 470 Euros/day to 520 Euros/day
LOCATION: BRUSSELS
Specific expertise: JAVA, J2EE, JIVE
t may also be level 2 >= 6 years of specific expertise in AAD; 15 years of general XP, included studies.
RATE: 470 EUROS/DAY TO 520 EUROS/DAY (BASED ON EXPERIENCE - RE LEVEL 2/3 ETC)
LOCATION: BRUSSELS
APPLICATION ARCHITECT/DESIGNER WITH SPECIFIC EXPERTISE IN JIVE AND JAVA/J2EE REQUIRED FOR ONE OUR BLUE CHIP CLIENTS IN BELGIUM.
1. CONTEXT/INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES
The "Support Systems & Tools" unit of the European Commission Directorate General for Communications Networks, Contentpossibly using available plugs in.
Provide advice and development on integration of document collaboration modules, in particularly for Microsoft Office and Sharepoint
Advice on mobile and security issues
Produce quality code that is well documented, and in accordance with system and technical specifications.
Liaise with other project teams as necessary to address cross-project interdependencies
3. SKILLS & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
Minimum 3 years of Core Specific Competency is JIVE in implementation and creation of sites and architecture. Current version is 7. Migration to version 8 in the medium term.
Additional Specific Competency is JAVA/J2EE (solid proven experience in development)
Solid and proven experience in Front End web-based development: HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery
Proven knowledge of database modelling and building (MySQL, Oracle)
Experience working in agile environments using Scrum (or similar) and via innovative/interactive techniques to engage customers during project
Ability to cope with the fast changing technologies used in web applications management and willingness to learn new technologies with fast experimentation cycles
Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings (FR-EN). Fluent in English, as this is project team working language, conversational in French is considered as an asset.
