Application Architect Designer

We are currently recruiting for an English and French speaking Application Architect and Designer to join our client located in Belgium. Our client is a public sector institution situated in Brussels. This is a fantastic three (3) years contract starting 10-01-2016 and ending 31-12-2018.

To be considered for this level 5 role, you must have: at least 24 years' experience in total, and 15 years in specific domain.

Technical depth/skills required:
- In-depth knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture
- In depth knowledge of applications design
- In depth knowledge of modelling tools
- Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming languages
- Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture
- Good knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
- Good knowledge of business process analysis
- Knowledge of interoperability technology (eg web services, message oriented Middleware, service oriented bus)
- Good redaction skills.
- Ability to give technical presentations.
- Ability to apply high quality standards
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application architecture and design
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills.
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working.

In addition to the above knowledge and skills the contractor must have an in-depth knowledge and proven experience with Oracle, Java, J2EE, UML, JIRA, Selenium, Confluence and Business Objects.

S/he should have good analytical skills, be fluent in English and French, and have good drafting skills.
