Application Architect - Data Centre Migration

LOCATION: UTRECHT, THE NETHERLANDS

DURATION: 2 MONTHS, EXTENSION IS POSSIBLE, 40 HOURS A WEEK

- Experience in application architect role for Java/J2EE and Microsoft Technologies.
- Working experience/knowledge Middleware & COTS products will be added advantage.
- E2E Application implementation experience in Telecom Domain.
- Should be able to understand the infrastructure related terms like server, storage etc.
- Should be able to understand the application impact due to any infra related changes.
- Create and develop technical application architecture deployments, migration planning from Legacy infrastructure to next generation platforms.
- Identify and model application capacity and performance requirements based on existing application environments/historical data.
- Identify critical functions and capacity-dependent functions to ensure continuity of performance of business critical applications in virtual/cloud-based environments.
- Identify inter-dependencies between applications and build solutions to ensure minimal business impact
- Define application/data migration strategy in coordination with other stakeholders like infra & Technical teams. 
- Previous experience in application Migration would be added advantage.
