Application Architect

Immediate consulting opportunity for an experienced Application Architect for our Fortune 500 Client in the financial services and banking industry.

SKILLS:

2-5 years of HTML and CSS experience

- The ability to hand code
- Experience with web standards and CSS-driven layouts
- Thorough understanding of cross-browser and platform compatibility issues
- Experience with mobile platform development is a plus
- 2-5 years experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or Fireworks for producing and optimizing graphics for the Web
- Knowledge of other Web development and graphic design software, including Illustrator and Flash, is a plus
- AJAX, DOM Scripting and object-oriented JavaScript coding a plus
- Must possess strong design skills including screen layouts, information design, and typography.
- Must have understanding of user-centered design principles and a great eye for detail.
- Able to develop innovative approaches to complex design problems and can convey ideas into tangible form.
- Experience with agile methodologies a plus
