Application Architect

We are looking for an experienced Application Architect with a minimum of 5 years experience working as an application architect. It is essential that we find someone who has experience with Real Time and batch data, application integration is also mandatory.

Applicants will need to have the ability to analyse and collect requirements for a problem space and develop a roadmap or produce options analysis for improvement of that problem space. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a working knowledge of application/software design patterns and a working understanding of tiered application design.

Someone with Working knowledge and experience with web application platforms (eg Tomcat, WebSphereApplication Server, WebLogicetc) would be highly desirable.

We are looking for someone who is able to work at both the conceptual (logical) architecture level as well as physical solution design level, this aspect is very important.

Other experience we are looking for includes:

- Experience in one or more large organisations mandatory
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Must have excellent influencing skills
- Must be self starter and have excellent analysis skills
