Westhouse offers the entire range of IT consulting services. We operate a worldwide network of highly qualified consult-ants and developers.
For our big client we are looking for:
APPLICATION ARCHITECT 15 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
TASKS
- Task 1: detailed design of component architecture and building blocks, and their integration. Review of the architecture of existing systems.
- Task 2: coordination of the actual implementation of the architecture (eg technical interface between project leaders and the developers)
- Task 3: production of Software Architecture documents including contributions to WSDL/XML specification documentation and to RUP artefacts: Vision Document (contribution for the technology aspects); Business Case (contribution); Technical studies and evaluations; Software Architecture Document, including possibly leading Architectural Proof of Concepts; Data Protection and Security requirements; Design model; Software Development Plan.
- Task 4: participate in technical meetings with the project team and with stakeholders.
THE CANDIDATES SHALL HAVE:
- The experience stated in the framework contract for the requested profile.
- Experience proving the capability to execute the tasks described in 2, in particular.
- Excellent knowledge of XML/SOAP technology (XQuery, XPath, WSDL, XSD, XSLT, Web Service Security) in a J2EE/SOA environment.
- Experience in writing documents compliant to RUP methodology.
- Good knowledge of English (spoken, written) and preferably also French (spoken, written).
- Proactive attitude, communicative (ie good listener), rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working.
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
- Design and coordination of the architecture implementation specialized on interoperability aspects using the following approaches:
(1) Service-Oriented Architecture solutions based on SOAP/XML and Enterprise Service Bus Enterprise Service Bus (Oracle Service Bus)
(2) Event-Driven Architecture including in-depth technical of WebLogic JMS
(3) Notion of Operational Data Stores (simple database meant to be exposed for consolidating key reference data)
DURATION: 1200 days
LOCATION: Brussels
