Application Architect

Are you ready to work for a company that's making a difference? We have a Contract-to-Hire (may consider straight Perm/Direct Hire) opportunity for an Application Architect in Downtown Atlanta. In this role you will provide technical leadership and key skills in support of software development, review the work of application teams to ensure consistency and quality in a timely manner, and regularly participate in code and design reviews ensuring functional, performance and scalability requirements are met.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Must be a non-smoker and pass strict background check.
- 15 years of experience, minimum of 10 years of IT experience.
- 7 years of experience in Application Architecture field.
- Strong experience with the following - OOAD, domain modelling and other OO modelling techniques;.NET experience; OR/M mapping tools; developing applications in various execution environments; relational databases and programming (preferably).
- SQL Server); and lastly with Model-Driven Development.
- Strong in one or more application frameworks: Spring.NET, MVC, Silverlight/MVVM, etc.
- Experience with XML, HTML and Javascript.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development.
- Microsoft Certified Architect preferred.
