Application Architect/.NET Architect

This financial organisation is seeking an Application Architect to join the team based in Sydney for an initial 6 month contract with possible extensions.

If successful you will be working in a team of experienced Architects on project work with major design and delivery responsibilities.  You will be working in a fast paced environment with rapid application development, highly iterative design and build processes.

To be considered for this role you will have

- Around 5+  years experience as an Architect, and 2+ years as an Application Architect
- Strong technical experience and understanding of business knowledge
- Strong skills in .NET technologies and ideally you will be familiar with Web Services, ASP.NET with strong database design skills including SQL and Oracle.
- Ability to develop conceptual models and process diagrams and a proven track record in software design including SOA and OO Design
- Previous experience working on large scale projects or in multi-project teams.
- A proven ability to engage with all levels of the business.
- Outstanding communication skills and consulting skills.
- A background in Financial Services would be highly regarded
