APPLICATION AND INTEGRATION ARCHITECT

For our customer in Brussels we are searching for someone who has the necessary experience with integration of one system into another.

OBJECTIVE OF THE FUNCTION

We are looking for an architect to temporarily help out in the integration project with our customer who are currently occupied with the merging of two companies. The primary goal is to determine an appropriate application and integration architecture for all the work identified as necessary for the migration of all our customers data and functionality to the existing application landscape.

The way of working is that the architecture & cross-application team picks up the business and functional requirements identified by the business analysis team and creates a proposal of how to satisfy these requirements. The application managers will focus on what is to be done within their domains, while the architect will focus on orchestration and integration.

The architect will work in the cross-application team and report to the lead architect. The architect will do day to day work in Enterprise Architect and Confluence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Quickly gain insight into the existing SAP/Siebel landscape
- Pick up work packages and quickly gain insight into cross-applicational concerns
- Reach consensus among the different stakeholders about
- The technical translation of business and functional requirements
- Which application will fill which functionality
- Challenge the requirements from the analysis team and the feedback from the application teams
- Work out the different viable options, in sufficient detail, to be able to make informed decisions

- Work out both application landscape and interfacing
- Make sure every stakeholder has sufficient information
- Team leads for analysis & architecture: enough to give a go/no-go

- Impacted applications and the work to be executed on them
- Impacted interfaces and the work to be executed on them

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

- Experience in application & integration architecture is a must
- Results oriented and self-motivated
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Accuracy
- Knowledge of the Belgian energy market is a plus
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architect and confluence is a plus
- Knowledge of Siebel/SAP is a plus
