Application Analyst

The Application Analyst works in a team environment developing detailed specifications outlining programming requirements. Responsible for analysis, design, and implementation of information system solutions using development methodology. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains these programs.

They would be working on a project to convert data from a Legacy system to a new system. It is an environment that requires someone who is flexible and is comfortable working in a fast moving/fluid project. It needs to be someone who can hit the ground running with little to no training/hand holding.

Additional Skills:

> 3+ years PERL
> 3+ years DB2 and/or SQL Server
> 3+ years AIX or similar UNIX experience
> 3+ years Object Oriented language (ie, Java, C, C++)
> Strong Analysis/Design and Problem Solving Skills
> 5+ years development experience (full life cycle)
> Experience with Application Upgrades, Data Conversion (moving data from system being sunset to new system)
> Able to quickly learn new systems independently without formal training
> Independent, no hand holding required, communicates status proactively
> HL7 experience preferred
