AppDynamics Engineer

For our client based in Zurich, we are looking for a AppDynamics Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing system design and architecture of systems regarding performance and monitoring
- Design systems and provide architectural specification for high performance and performance monitoring
- Conception, set-up, installation, tailoring and tuning of AppDynamics Monitoring
- Support and operate a large scale AppDynamics cluster
- Analysis and consulting on application/system run time behavior.
- Technical QA of the products in scope.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Senior JEE engineer with experience or interest in application performance management
- 5+ years' experience in IT (development, architecture)
- A recent hands-on knowledge for Java (Architecture, Design-Pattern, Run-time)
- Experience with AppDynamics Monitoring (certification preferred)
- Hands-on experience with performance test tools, like JMeter, Loadrunner, or similar
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communication skills
- An engineering mindset in terms of structured analysis of complex systems and problem approaching
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Any of the following skills in advantageous: Database performance tuning, Distributed Caches (like coherence), BigData, Linux/Unix system tuning, Windows performance tuning, Mobile technologies
- Hands-on knowledge in C++ or C#, Oracle
- A high level of abstraction skills to create strategies and planning for technical tests of IT systems
