App Manager for Global Windows 10 Migration Project

For our pharmaceutical client in the Basel Area, we are seeking a App Manager for global Windows 10 migration project

Your Role

* Conceptional work (design process & communication to stakeholder)

* Work closely together with the other members inside the application readiness work stream

* Ensure the testing is executed in the planned timelines

* Coordinate all testing activities with the assigned business partner for this app category

* Ensure that all Office apps and manual installed apps can be tested on the target platform

* Management reporting and escalation

* Preparation and follow-up of escalations

* SPOC for all requests in this application category

* Liaison with the Portfolio and Release Manager for Windows client requirements and issues

* Contribute to the communication regarding testing and remediation

* Help managing the Project Stream mailbox (review, assign, label e-mails as required)

* Ensure database for this app category is up-to-date

Your Experience

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in migration/deployment projects (eg rollout projects), preferably as Business Analyst/Project Manager and ideally in the app readiness area

* Solid technical understanding of OS, MS Office apps and manual installation processes

* Working independently and proactive, used to work without direct supervision

* Structured way of working with a strong focus on teamwork.

* Experience in virtual, international team settings

* Good communicator, able to connect to different stakeholders on different levels. Able to create a fast working relationship with the change director, application owners and the engineering team.

* ITIL Foundation certification or relevant experience in Service Management

* Business-fluid in English, both verbally and in writing
