This is a DEVELOPER POSITION!

Software Designer/Developer to accommodate work efforts which will involve modifications to SMI (Systems Master Index) and APIs (Application Program Interface) developed to interface with SMI. Our SMI team is currently fully utilized on both current tool support and other development activities. As a result of the spike in workload, we will need a contractor resource to design and develop this work.

CANDIDATE TECHNICAL BACKGROUND:
-- ASP.NET experience
-- Experience in working within an Agile development environment with extensive face-to-face customer interactions during project design, development, implementation, and on-going maintenance.
-- Microsoft Access database
-- Database development experience
-- SQL Server 2005/2008
-- Moderate to advanced VBA and/or VB

SYSTEMS CONTRACTOR WILL INTERACT WITH/BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
-- SMI Database (System Master Index)
-- Systems may be Wintel server based with SQL/Access Databases

PRIMARY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS INSIDE AND/OR OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION:
Candidate will interface with executives (Internal I/S and External) and other stakeholders to ensure that requirements are proper.
