API Technical Author Job

API Technical Author needed for an initial 3 month contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Central London paying £300 - £350 per day.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- API technical writing
- Basic programming skills in C# or Java
- Knowledge of XML or SOAP or REST

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- You will work closely with the Development team to write technically accurate API documentation.
- Using your programming skills in either C# or Java you will include code samples in your documentation.
- You will contribute to a public facing technical documentation website taking the lead for all API documentation.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- You must have proven experience writing technical API documents.
- You will have programming skills on C# or Java.
- You will have knowledge of web based content management systems.
- You must be a confident communicator that can take the lead and work well within a team.
