API SYSTEM ENGINEER
Experis IT Switzerland is searching for an experienced API System Engineer to join one of their clients, who operates in banking sector. For this TEMPORARY assignment we are in search of an English speaking candidate who is immediately available and ready to work in Zürich.
PROJECT DETAILS:
The System Engineer for API Management supports the architecture and roadmap of our API platform and works together with the delivery teams as part of the project life cycle.
This role covers:
- Analyse business and technical requirements and deliver industry state-of-the-art solutions
- Creation and implementation of technical concepts for API life cycle
- Evaluation and implementation of an API Management platform
- Automation of testing and release management process in the context of API Management
- Close collaboration and knowledge sharing with the architecture team
- Partnering with a range of stakeholders to ensure the API platform architecture and roadmaps are defined, maintained, Embedded and used
- Keep up to date on API technology and best practices
YOUR PROFILE:
- Professional training or degree in computer science/engineering (or equivalent)
- Track record in designing and developing web services/API
- Proven knowledge of web technologies (eg JavaScript, SOAP/REST, Swagger/RAML, XML) and web security (eg identity management, OAuth 2.0).
- Good understanding of modern API technologies
- Solid know-how about Identity Access Management/Authentication/Authorization concepts
- Hands-on experience with GitLab and Jenkins
- Structured and efficient ways of working
- Communicative, structured team player with a start-up attitude
- Used to deliver compelling Powerpoint presentations
- English written and spoken on negotiation level, German is an asset

START DATE: September 2018
DURATION: until end of March 2019 with possibility of extension
