API Management Specialist

We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for an API Management Specialist. The role is on a contract basis in Zürich for a period of 7 months, with the possibility to extend beyond this.

Your role:

- Support the architecture & roadmap of an API platform.
- Work closely together with delivery teams as part of the project life cycle.
- Analyze business & technical requirements & contemporary solutions.
- Create & implement technical concepts for the API life cycle.
- Evaluate & implement an API Management platform.
- Carry out Automation of testing & release management process in the context of API Management.
- Closely collaborate & share knowledge within the architecture team.
- Cooperate with stakeholders to ensure the API platform architecture & roadmaps are defined, maintained, Embedded & utilized.
- Maintain a knowledge the latest API technologies & best practices.

Your Skills:

- Sound track record in designing & developing web services/APIs.
- Proven know-how in the areas of web technologies (eg JavaScript, SOAP/REST, Swagger/RAML, XML) & web security (eg identity management, OAuth 2.0).
- Good understanding of modern API technologies.
- Solid know-how of Identity Access Management/Authentication/Authorization concepts.

Your Profile:

- Professionally trained or completed University degree in computer science/engineering (or equivalent).
- Structured, efficient, communicative, upbeat & a team player.
- Skilled in delivering captivating PowerPoint presentations.
- Fluent English (spoken & written) is mandatory, German is considered a plus.
