API Management

ROLE: API MANAGEMENT
TYPE: CONTRACT
LOCATION: AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS

THE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

- Good experience across API management (API gateway, security, governance, API registry, API portal, etc)
- Well versed with Devops technology and good understanding of various open source tools used across API management landscape
- Creating a common API management platform, which can be rolled out across all client countries
- Requirement gathering for common API platform will include discussions with various countries on their existing solutions and taking best of breed approach
- Components of such solution, will focus on reusability and will include
- Global API catalog: ie. Listing all APIs per country, having some sort of access control etc
- Global API developer portal: so developers can register, search the catalogue, request to consume (probably some approval process) and then get an API key
- Global API monitoring: get stats from different gateways and more insights (ie TPS, bottlenecks, alerts on downtimes)
- Global API security
- Associates need to be able to advise client around best approach/architecture for API management platform and get a wider industry/Europe wide perspective
- Associates need to have good communication skills and good people manager (as team needs to work closely with client API community across globe)
