API Gateway Specialist

Projektbeschreibung
Role title: API Gateway Specialist
Duration: 4 months (with option of extension)
Place of work: Winterthur, Canton Zurich
Tasks:
. Configure and document Web Service interfaces and connections to partner systems on our API Gateway appliances (CA API Gateway, formerly Layer 7 SecureSpan SOA Gateway).
. Design and implement gateway policies eg for exposing APIs, automation of API ecosystem
. Provide support and consulting to application developers, system integrators or solution architects to help them implementing their requirements
. Engineering of API Gateway enhancements, eg self-services for DevOps, log integration, improvements for monitoring and capacity management
. Engineer and execute infrastructure life cycle tasks on our API Gateways
. Contribute to 3rd level support (troubleshooting) and support of incident, change, problem management processes in collaboration with clients, 2nd level support and providers
Skills required:
. Profound experience in HTTP, XML/XSD, JSON, SOAP, REST and the various Web Service standards (WS-*)
. Experience as a developer of Web service based integration scenarios, adept at working with testing tools such as SoapUI
. Practical knowledge in configuring policies on a CA API Gateway: Assertions, Encapsulated assertions, Fragments, Cluster wide properties
. Good knowledge of security (SSL/TLS, PKI, various authentication methods)
. Basic understanding about OAuth 2.0 (incl. grant types and scopes)
. Good Linux and network skills
. Hands-on experience in Unix Shell Scripting
. Very pronounced conceptual thinking
. Structured way of working
. Very good analytic skills (eg for error analysis)
. Ability to work independently
. Very good communication skills in English
